SDG4 in Kibera
In December 2024 we went for the Floor4Africa programme implementation in St. Juliet's School, Kibera slum in Kenya. We did our job very well in an innovative way: details... However, it looks like the cleanable STAN FLOOR C16/20 is not enough what we ought to do over there. In 2023 local community of the eastern Kibera built a school bridge with us. Similar circumstances are in the western Kibera. The passage leading to the STt. Juliet's School is quite dangerous for children attending all schools in the neighbourhood. About 4000 kids cross the 12-metre bridge requiring urgent refurbishment. So, we accept the challenge and local community of western Kibera will build the bridge with us. There are local professionals ready to do it with local materials. Children shouldn't risk their health condition while going to lear at school, should they?! Education is a key for them to change their life. We are truly happy to announce that the Floor4Africa Programme feels really at home in Kenyan Kibera. You will be able to find all details about the new bridge here. Stay tuned!
